Instructions
  • the "Next Arrow" button below the map to move the owl forward to the next data point.
  • the "Prev Arrow" button below the map to move the owl back to the previous data point.
  • the "Next Sunset" button below the map to move the owl forward to the data point before the next sunset.
  • the "Prev Sunset" button below the map to move the owl back to the data point before the previous sunset.
  • the "First" button below the map to move the owl to the first data point.
  • the "Last" button below the map to move the owl to the last data point.
  • a trail arrow to return the owl to the location the arrow points to.
  • the "Menu" button in the top left corner to adjust settings and access other features.
  • Use the "Base Map" selector to change the base map from satellite photos to road illustrations and more.
  • Use the "Arrow Display" selector to choose between:
    • Displaying the arrows you've visited
    • Displaying the arrows for the current day (sunset to sunset)
    • Displaying all the arrows
    • Don't display any arrows, just the owl icon and info window
  • Use the "Map Animation" selector to choose between:
    • Zooming to fit the last arrows displayed (with smoothing)
    • Panning the map to center the current owl data point at the current zoom level
    • Panning the map to center the current owl data point at the maximum zoom level
    • Don't animate the map
